The story of Hedgeworm began with a deep desire to give back to the community and help others overcome the challenges of starting a business. The founders, having faced their own obstacles in entrepreneurship, understood firsthand the difficulties of securing funding, finding mentorship, and navigating legal and operational complexities. Despite these hurdles, they knew that with the right resources and support, anyone could turn their dreams into reality. 

After overcoming these personal struggles, they recognized a larger problem — many people, especially those from marginalized and under-resourced communities, lacked access to the tools and guidance necessary to succeed. This realization fueled the creation of Hedgeworm, a nonprofit dedicated to providing advocacy, mentorship, and financial resources for entrepreneurs. It became clear that to truly make a difference, they also needed to address the systemic barriers that many face when trying to build something of their own. 

What started as a passion project to help fellow entrepreneurs has now grown into a mission-driven organization committed to serving both individuals and communities. Hedgeworm’s founders believe that by creating opportunities for economic empowerment, they can foster long-lasting change and restore hope in communities that need it most. Their journey is one of turning adversity into opportunity and, most importantly, of giving back in meaningful ways.
